Most products in conventional stores contain ingredients that can be toxic, especially if ingesting them constantly over time. Our water, food, the land, and even the air we breathe contain so many toxins that are detrimental to overall health. Eliminating these wherever possible is vital for our bodies to function optimally. Eating food with “clean ingredients” helps immensely with overall immunity and your body’s ability to cleanse, restore and heal itself. You are, indeed, what you eat.

Grocery

Uncle Dean's strives to be the go-to destination for fresh, simple, preservative free food.  You'll find a store filled with healthy and delicious choices, including an extensive offering of local, organic, non-gmo, gluten-free, keto, raw, and vegan options.  We also know and completely understand that life can be really busy sometimes, and yet it's still important to try to eat well.   We aim to continue to add to our ready made food options in order to offer choices as close to homemade as possible without all the prep time.     

Produce

Apples and carrots and kale... YUM! Our produce team does a fantastic job finding great fruits and vegetables for you! We are committed to bringing you the highest quality natural, organic, and/or locally grown produce that we can find. We source seasonally from local farmers and aim to provide the best Maine has to offer, with our produce often freshly picked directly from the field and delivered to the store the same day. We have a wide selection of organic items from certified growers. Farm fresh without all the farm work! 

Meat/Poultry/Dairy

We understand meat, poultry and dairy aren't for everyone. That's fine.  We offer a wide array of vegan selections, too.  But if you happen to love great quality meats you've come to the right place. We love knowing where our meat comes from and knowing that it’s been ethically raised without unnecessary artificial hormones or antibiotics.  Whether you're looking for grass-fed, local, and/or organic we have delicious options.   

We strive to offer the same choices and standards with our poultry products.  We work with local farmers to provide quality eggs from free range and antibiotic free flocks.   We are committed to bringing you farm-to-table freshness.

Come check out our great selection of raw milks, cheeses, and yogurts from small, family farms, too. These products are produced in small batches the old fashioned way.  You really can taste the difference. 

Vegan/Vegetarian

We know that it can be hard for our vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free friends to find quality products that still taste great. We carry a huge selection of gluten-free and meat-alternative products that are delicious to boot!  

Bulk

Uncle Dean's is known far and wide for our large selection of bulk products at fantastic prices!  From fifty pound bags of flour, oats, and sugar to dried and frozen fruits to specialty spices, we have something in bulk for everyone.  Come see our selection for yourself, and we'll happily carry those fifty pounders to your car for you.  Don't be shy about asking.  

Supplements

We hear time and time again that many doctors and nutritionists in the community send their patients to us for those hard-to-find vitamins and supplements.  Uncle Dean's carries an extensive selection of nutritional products for everyday and specialized health needs at hard-to-beat prices. We have what you're looking for.  And if not, we'd be happy to see if we can special order an item.  

Baked Goods

Yes, we have those!  We carry local, homemade baked goods and treats, made with simple ingredients the old fashioned way. You won't find these at the big grocery stores because many come from farms and bakers right in the community!  Yum again!
